If you want to find best designs photos and videos for your YouTube cash cow websites. your print on demand business or for any make money online method you like check out the link I posted in the description box of this article Alright folks so the method I'd like to show you in this article is called "print on demand".
One of the most popular print on demand services out there is redbubble.com. I personally have been using this website for years and I can tell you one thing: red bubble is probably one of the most beginner friendly print on demand services online.
Before I show you in detail, though how to upload design there and how to actually make real money I mean really decent amounts of passive income every single day let me first outline in a few words how this website works.
So let's say one of your friends wants to buy a cool t shirt with a dog on it. Because he loves dogs and all. He can head over to red bubble's homepage and search for "dog t shirt", for instance.
Now as you can see there are millions of different dog shirts here you could buy. Some of them look pretty professionally made some you can tell by the looks of it are really simple.
So let's take this design here for example. If your friend actually bought this shirt the owner or let's better say the uploader of this design would earn a specific amount or cut of the price here called "royalty
You can set the height of the royalty you want to make from your designs in your account settings so at the end it depends on you alone how much you're gonna make with your shirt designs.
Now let's assume you buy a shirt for your girlfriend. a dog shirt like that. in that case you would have to pay somehow around 22 dollars. If the design owner set a royalty of let's say 30% of the price he would receive somehow around....let me do the math here...6.6 or 7 dollars per each sale of that design.
7 dollars from one sale alone. And here comes the real magic of this business model guys. You don't have to work hard to earn those 7 dollars. You don't have to take shifts work 9 to 5 and do the same thing over and over again in order to earn those 7 dollars.
No. This is the magic of passive income: you create a design like that. Upload it. And from that moment on you don't need to take care anymore of it. You can leave it just like that enjoy your free time while you still will be making sales form that one upload days weeks or even months after you published this design here on red bubble.
And now imagine you make hundred of sales like that every single day.7 multiplied by 100 is 700 dollars in cash for you. And the best thing is there is no limit to that you can upload as many designs on red bubble and other print on demand services as you like.
And on the top of that you don't need to worry about things like customer service the shipping or the marketing. Red bubble will be taking care of all of it so that you can focus entirely on providing Red bubble and its customers with new cool designs and on counting sales coming in.
Of course there will be competition. As for dog shirts, for example you can expect to have a lot of competing designs here on red bubble.
Make sure you watch this article till the very end guys because I am going to share with you some secret tips in the latter part of this article Secret tips that can help you massively increase your chances of making even more sales and beating your competition in a long term perspective.
Before we get to that though don't forget to give that article a like folks and to tell me in the comments down below which print on demand service you want me to breakdown in my upcoming tutorials. Ok so step number one is to create an account on red bubble.
Simply head over to the homepage of red bubble click on sign up here in the top right corner select "artist sign up", enter your email a username and a password and that's it.
Alright once you're logged in on red bubble,is time to find some cool ideas for your artwork. Now the easiest way to get some impression what kind of designs sell best is to simply investigate the homepage of red bubble or even better head over to the t shirt section here and to browse through the entries to see.
What designs are the most popular here. You can look up different themes and niches...."funny"shirts always sell pretty well. And now as you can see most of the designs here are either simple text design or easy made graphic designs. I am going to show you in a few seconds howto replicate...for example...cool looking designs like that one here.
Click on it to see more details...."hang on. let me overthink this." Easiest text designs ever made. Imagine earning hundreds of dollars from a shirt like that every single day.
Ok to replicate a selling design like that I would recommend you to head over to canva.com to select "logo" here on the homepage to resize your design to 4500 by 5400 pixel and to simply start creating your text design.
Well "creating" does not seem to be the proper expression here in my opinion. Because guys the only the thing you need to do is to choose "text" from the tool box here on the left hand side pick a nice cool looking font drag and drop the text on the editing space change the color to white ( I will explain why this is important in a few moments).
Adjust the size the position and the alignment of the text design a bit and safe your design eventually on your computer as a png file. Don't forget to enable "transparent background",though.
Otherwise your design will have a colored background on your shirt, which you want to avoid. Next go back to your red bubble account choose"sell your art" here "add ne work" there and finally upload your design by clicking on "upload new work".
Choose the file you want to upload and while it is uploading add a nice catchy title if it's a text design you can simply use the text as your title plus something like "funny saying for lazy people" add describe your design in a few words.
Add some strong niche related keywords to and next head over to the products section. Now I would recommend you to enable as many different products as possible. Sure t shirts are probably the most popular merchandise product but you can make a lot of additional sales if you put your design on mugs pillows and many other stuff, as well.
Click on "edit" to set the height of the royalty you want to make per each product you sell. Change the size and the shirt color if you like. Save and scroll down to the bottom of the page to publish your design here on red bubble.
Before you do that don't forget to select"design & illustration" conform that you have the right to sell merch with that design on it and that you don't violate anybody's copyright. So stay away from copying designs that are related or copyright protected by big companies.
No mickey mouse no star bucks no Netflix designs guys. I mean it. Take this warning seriously. You can get into a lot of serious trouble if you don't respect copyright policies.
If you get a license from a company to sell their merch and their designs in your shop, then that would be something completely different. But as long as you don't have none don't try to be the smart guy and don't do any BS here ok? Ok so let me give you a few advice how you can make your designs look unique and outstanding in order to make your portfolio of designs.
More competitive and as a result make more sales with it. Well the first tip is pretty simple. Most people starting in print on demand business ignore that however. Remember when I told you to set the resolution of your design you create via canva on 4500 by 5400 pixels? Now that is at least in my opinion there solution that makes your designs cover as much space on your shirt as needed in order to look big and visible for potential customers.
No one wants to buy a shirt with a design on it especially a text design where you need a magnifying glass to see or read the text of the design you know. So make sure your designs cover always the majority of the chest so that potential customers have no problems reading the text on it.
The second tip is also simple and also as underrated as the first one: keep whenever you can your designs in white or at-least in light colors. And also: enable black as the default color for your shirts.
The reason for this is simple: white designs on a black background sell a whole lot better than vice versa. Don't underestimate the influence colors and those tiny details have on our read and like article
